My therapeutic approach:

Liz Powers Wells, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Supervised by Tony Lai LPC, RPT-S & Amber Caldera LCSW

*Research shows that the key to effective therapy is the relationship between therapist and client.

Feeling safe and understood isn’t a bonus—it’s the starting point for real change. I know what it’s like to navigate a world that wasn’t designed for your brain, your body, or your way of being. You deserve support that meets you exactly where you are. My approach is collaborative and rooted in deep respect for how you already exist in the world.

I primarily work with neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults, with a special focus on autism and ADHD. Adults I work with might be navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, or the strain of finding solid ground in a world that often feels overwhelming and out of sync.

For younger clients, I use play therapy to help kids express what they can’t always say out loud. I’m currently pursuing certification in play therapy to keep deepening this work.
